Just a quick post as we leave our B&B here in Victoria for a drive up to Nanaimo where we'll meet some colleagues from my campus and will travel with them for about a week (until next Saturday). Yesterday we traveled to Butchart Gardens which was quite enjoyable even though it softly rained on us the entire time. In the evening we relaxed in our supremely comfortable room and read to the sound of falling rain.
We were planning on heading to Vancouver next Saturday, but on Qov's suggestion have decided to come back to Victoria for a day so we can see the provincial museum before heading to Vancouver for a few days.
